Vehicles in German City Found Covered with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Police State

Officers mentioned they were alerted by a resident who noticed a car in Hanau marked with reddish liquid

Approximately fifty cars have been covered with what seems to be blood from a person in the German municipality of Hanau close to Frankfurt, as reported by authorities.

Automobiles, building surfaces and postboxes were defaced, sometimes with prohibited symbols, they announced in a official communication.

Officers say they were contacted in the late hours on Wednesday evening, when a resident observed that a automobile in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been smeared with a reddish liquid.

The substance had been drawn in the shape of a banned symbol, they reported.

Police then found multiple other smeared cars and house walls in the adjacent neighborhood.

These symbols are banned in Germany under laws outlawing the visible presentation of symbols from the Nazi era.

Law enforcement state early analysis indicate the fluid was likely human bodily fluid.

"At present there remains no indication as to where it came from; authorities are currently not aware of any harm in relation with the incident," they commented.

Municipal representatives stated they were working "to resolve the case" and have asked to the residents for tips.

An important official stated the incident made him without words and needed to be addressed rapidly.

"This act affects the core of Hanau and reopens the wounds of the far-right violent incident half a decade ago," he wrote on social media, mentioning the murder of nine people by a gunman focusing on individuals of foreign heritage in five years prior.
